Poached Eggs with Cheese                                                              

Poached eggs on buttered toast, spread with Mom's Basic Horseradish sauce. One slice of cheddar cheese on each. Heated until cheese melts. Garnish with parsley.                                                                             Fast easy and oh so good.     

   

 Cabbage and Fruit Salad                                                                     

  2 cups shredded cabbage, 1/2 cup diced apricots,1/2 cup cubed oranges,1/4 tsp celery seed, 1/3 cup French Dressing, 2 tablespoons Mom's Basic Horseradish, 1/3 teaspoon salt. Chill ingredients. Combine and serve in salad bowl.Many other combinations of fruits, apples, pears, peaches or berries may be used.

 Serves 6.


Spiced Grape Juice Cocktail


1 pint bottled grape juice, 1/4 tsp cinnamon,
1/4 tsp nutmeg, speck ground cloves, 2 tsp Mom's Basic Horseradish. Combine the grape juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground clove in a saucepan and simmer for five minutes. Add horseradish. Chill.

Pour into cocktail or sherbet glasses and serve as first course. Serves 6.
